Buyer traffic fell — county showings were −7.9% on the month, a reversal of August’s +1.9% gain. The summer rebound didn’t carry into September.

Shoreline’s interest fell furthest — buyer interest dropped from 5.7 to 4.3, the steepest fall of any market we track, though it is still above the 3.6 county average.

Sammamish stood alone — showings +0.9% with buyer interest steady at 4.0 while every other market cooled, even as Klahanie (98075) posted our biggest inventory build: active listings up 164% on the year.
